A bit about Ms. Colihan…

Ms. Colihan joined The Anderson School faculty in 2015. Previously, she served as Head of Career Education at The Pathway School, during which time she was a regular contributing columnist for Autism After 16. She has previous experience teaching in autistic and learning support programs, as well as in home-based programs for young children with developmental disabilities, and served on the Board of Directors for ASCEND (The Asperger and Autism Alliance for Greater Philadelphia). Ms. Colihan earned her B.S. in Sociology from St. Joseph’s University and her M.Ed. in Special Education from Arcadia University. Ms. Colihan is the proud mother of 2 humans and nana of 3 felines. When not at school, Ms. Colihan enjoys spending time at flea markets and silent auctions seeking out primary source resources (and rubber ducks) for her classroom.
