Greetings! As I start my fourth year as the Anderson School Counselor, I’m eager to get underway with lots of exciting opportunities for our students. I work to strongly support the academic performance, career development, and personal/social growth of each student. My goal is to assist students in their pursuits and to support them in the decision making process. I am committed to creating atmosphere of encouragement so that each student is empowered to set and pursue goals as they prepare for their future.
Counseling services include individual and group counseling, post-secondary planning curriculum, consultation with parents and community resources. I coordinate PSSAs & Keystone exams, working with students to help meet graduation requirements for their respective home districts. The Anderson School is fortunate to have other Montgomery County Intermediate Unit supports available to our students as well, including the ability to make referrals for MontcoWorks, Transition services, and credit recovery programs. We also make a valiant effort to expose our students to a plethora of experiences in order to help them make decisions about their future, including guest speakers, field trips, and Career Day.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns. I look forward to working with you and your child to make this their most successful year!
